| Hello All Went to see Wanda Jackson last night courtesy of a spare ticket my friend Mark had floating around. The Queen of Rock N Roll indeed. (Wanda - not Mark). Even at 75. I didn’t know that she’d gone out with Elvis. Lucky woman. There was some country, some rock n roll, some rockabilly and no need for anything else, either. As always, I was wary of someone post pension getting up and doing a few numbers but WJ was genuinely charming, her voice still genuinely great. I guess that’s what makes her Wanda, I guess it makes you Wanda….. and actually, lucky Elvis |
